I'm pretty familiar with embroidery but what is Dye Sublimation?

For us, embroidery is a finishing treatment. That means we sew the design after the cooler is fully assembled.

We use commercial embroidery machines to sew your logo into the material that is used to make your coolers. Pretty much always, we sew on a pocket so we don't puncture waterproof barriers.

.On the other hand, dye sublimation is a process where the fabric is treated with the inks that color your design before the cooler is assembled.

Therefore, when we use dye sublimation to finish your coolers, order quantities tend to be larger. And production takes more time.

Embroidered finishes like a name or a phrase are TEXT.
Our embroidery machines sew many common TEXT fonts without special programing.

Unless we’re talking about a unusual font type, TEXT is easy to execute. When you "personalize your cooler with embroidery", your using TEXT to create logo art.

With the curves, lines & changes that make up a logo, usually we have to generate a unique program for the embroidery machine.

Logo's, mascots, and design combinations usually require that we create (digitize) a unique computer file that instructs the embroidery machine how to sew the design.

When the we need to digitize a unique design we refer to the process as "Customizing Your Cooler With Embroidery".

So when we want to finish a cooler or a tote bag with a logo, a mascot, or combine text with a design, the priority becomes communicating effectively about your design.

How would I be charged for personalized, or a customized finish?

Our web page is equipped to handle TEXT embroidery. So the system will add $9.95 to the price of the item that we are personalizing.

When we are working with a digitized design, the fees are determined by the stitch count. That is; how many stitches the embroidery machine uses to sew out the design.

So our process with digitized designs is as follows;

Receive your form with descriptive details about your design.
Confirm the design details & the price by telephone or email.
Digitize the design & present a sample for your final approval.
Sew the design onto the cooler, tote, or backpack.
We email an invoice for payment.

Regarding the cost of dye-sublimation, it's the order quantity that will determine the cost per unit.
